Marbella Shines for the 13th Marea Rosa Solidarity Walk

After a rather rainy spell along the Costa del Sol towards the end of last week, the sun finally broke through on Sunday 16 November, bathing Marbella in perfect light for one of the town’s most heart-warming events of the year.

More than 1,500 people flooded the centre of Marbella for the 13th edition of the Marea Rosa solidarity walk, organised by the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC). Dressed in pink and buzzing with energy, participants came together to raise vital awareness and funds for cancer patients and their families.

The atmosphere was nothing short of electric. The walk kicked off at Avenida del Mar, wound its way along the seafront, and finished at Parque Mediterráneo, where everyone was treated to music, food & drink stalls, children’s activities and plenty of smiles.

It was a beautiful reminder of what community spirit looks like: friends, families, locals and visitors all united for an incredibly important cause.

If you missed it this year, make sure you mark your calendar for 2026. The Marea Rosa is more than just a walk; it’s a celebration of hope, solidarity and the fight against cancer. We’ll see you there, wearing pink! 💕
